Obtaining a marriage certificate

If you are getting married in the Register Office then you will need to pay the statutory fee of £43.50 on the day of your ceremony, this fee includes one copy of your marriage certificate. If you require any additional marriage certificates you will need to pay an extra £3.50 per certificate on the day.

If you are getting married in any of the Approved Venues within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea you will need to pre-pay for any marriage certificates you require at a cost of £3.50 per certificate. These should be paid for, along with the attendance fee, at least 28 days before the date of the ceremony.
