Parking in the Borough with a European Disabled Blue Badge

Where can I park in this Borough with my European Disabled Blue Badge?

These badges are issued to people with a physical disability, or those who are registered as blind, and who need to be able to park close to their destination.

However, because of the serious parking problems in central London, the Secretary of State for Transport decided when the scheme was introduced that the normal disabled parking concessions would not apply in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Because of this we have set up a special disabled badge scheme for residents called the Purple Badge Scheme.

Please see the links below for more information about the European Blue Badge Scheme, details of the Purple Badge Scheme and a list of parking bays for Blue Badge holders in the Borough.

In addition, Blue Badge holders can also park in Pay and Display bays and get one hour free on top of the ticket time purchased from the Pay and Display machine. You must display the Pay and Display ticket and the Blue Badge and your clock.
