Food and Drink Cartons

Pictures of drink cartons that can be recycled

You can now recycle paper-based food and drink cartons such as milk, soup or juice cartons in your orange recycling bag or mixed recycling bank.

Please rinse out all cartons and squash them before putting them in the orange bag or the recycling bank. Lids can be left on.

Paper-based food and drink cartons can be re-made into a number of different products, ranging from plasterboard liner to high-strength paper bags and envelopes.

Please tell all your friends and family who live in the borough that they can now recycle food and drink cartons in their orange bag or mixed recycling bank.
