Environmental Services Recycling, rubbish and litter
The Waste Management department is responsible for gritting public roads and pavements during adverse weather conditions.
Gritting routes are prioritised with main roads and vulnerable points being attended to first. Vulnerable points include pedestrian crossings, access to schools and social services properties.

Transport for London (TFL) are responsible for maintaining the red routes which run through the Borough, further information is available by calling 020 7343 5000 or email enquiries@streetmanagement.org.uk.
