Partnerships

The Health Partnership Board has a remit to improve the health of people living and working in the Borough, together with partners including the health authority.

It is not an advisory group; it takes decisions and has a direct link to the Cabinet.

The Cabinet Member for Social Services and Health will be represented on it. The board's decisions can be scrutinised by the relevant Overview and Scrutiny Committee for Social Services, Health and Housing. 

Similarly, the Community Safety Partnership is a partnership of many agencies dealing with crime.
