Hiring Leighton House

A Palace of Art

Studio

Leighton House is unique among the capital's museums in that it combines outstanding collections of High Victorian art with the atmosphere and intimacy of a private home.

This very virtue makes Leighton House Museum an exceptional venue for entertaining, providing an unforgettable setting for corporate and private dinners, receptions, lectures, concerts and photographic or filming shoots.

Dining Room

The exotic Arab Hall is a perfect and sumptuous setting for drinks and canapés. Leighton's Studio on the first floor caters for 80 people and is ideal for both corporate and private dinners.

Alternatively, for a more intimate or formal occasion the elegant dining room can be used to seat 30 guests. For receptions, this unique venue comfortably accommodates 150 guests in total and during summer evenings the recently restored Victorian garden is available.

Studio

The Studio, traditionally used by Lord Leighton for his musical soirees, continues to host recital concerts and lectures and has a seating capacity of 130.

For advice on holding an event at Leighton House Museum please contact the Events Manager who will be happy to discuss your ideas further. Telephone: 0207 603 1123.

We would request that you download and read the attached Regulations and Conditions of Hire document to avoid disappointment and to ensure that all goes smoothly with your event.
