The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room, circa 1866
The drawing room, with its large bow window and simple furnishings was almost secondary as a space for entertaining to the grand studio on the first floor. The walls either side of the large window were hung with Leighton's four paintings by Corot of The Times of the Day, now on view in the National Gallery.
