The Studio
The Studio, circa 1880
The heart of the whole house was the studio. Large and imposing, it served both as a working environment in which Leighton would pass many hours of almost every day that he was at home and as a space in which he could entertain. Leighton's annual musical evenings, drew performers of note to a what was and remains a unique concert venue.
