Leighton House Museum is closed for refurbishment and will reopen to the public on 3 April 2010. During the closure period, the public will not be able to access any part of the Museum or the Garden.

- The Artists Houses of Holland Park: Many of the houses around Leighton House were commissioned by artists as studio-houses during the second half of the nineteenth century. None are open to the public, but it is possible to view exteriors of houses designed by Richard Norman Shaw and William Burges
- Holland Park is five minutes walk from Leighton House. The Park contains two exhibition galleries; The Orangery and The Ice House with a programme of temporary exhibitions between April and October
