What if my circumstances change?

You must tell us promptly if any of your circumstances change - if your income changes, for instance. Other things we need to know about include:

• If you stop receiving Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support or Pension Credit
• If any of your children leaves school
• If someone joins or leaves your household
• If anyone in your household who was either not working or working part-time starts working full time
• If anyone in your household earning less than £322 per week has an increase in their income

Any delay in telling us could cause you to be overpaid. If you don’t tell us, and you are overpaid, we will want that money back. You could also be prosecuted.
