Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction

Housing Benefit is a national welfare benefit whereas Council Tax Reduction is a local scheme. Both of these are administered by us to help people on low incomes to pay their rent and Council Tax.

Please note we can only provide advice or process applications for residents of Kensington and Chelsea. If you do not live in the borough please visit http://www.gov.uk/ for local information or seek information from your local authority.
