Introduction

The Council are seeking the views of park users and residents on the dog agility area and its relocation at Athlone Gardens. The dog agility area is currently located in an area that is due to be handed over to Catalyst Housing in November 2020 as shown on this plan below.
In early 2021, phase 2 of the park will be reopened to the public, this is the site of the current haul road. This will provide an opportunity to relocate the dog agility area into this space. The remaining area of the current haul road will become grass land until the final park design is decided following a public consultation planned for 2021/22.
