Messages from our supporters
Kensington and Chelsea Council recognises the positive impact a successful Best Bar None scheme can have and we welcome its continuation in our borough. We will continue to work together with our partners and the licensed trade to achieve a better and safer environment for the whole community.
Nicholas Austin
Director for Environmental Health, Royal Borough Kensington and Chelsea
Kensington and Chelsea Police see Best Bar None as a very positive contribution to creating best practice for our pubs, clubs and bars with regard to their customers and their neighbourhood. Best Bar None provides an additional interface which increases our local understanding of the operating environment of the licensed trade, enables us to be more responsive to their needs, share information with them more effectively and facilitate the sharing of good practice between licensees.

The Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers welcomes the continued commitment from Kensington and Chelsea needed to run a successful Best Bar None Scheme, proven to raise standards, enhance the enjoyment of our customers and rewards those venues that participate. Partnership is good in theory and the Royal Borough does this excellently in practice.
