Fit For Work Service
Kensington and Chelsea Fit for Work Service is a free service
that is for employees and employers in the borough to improve
health and wellbeing in the workplace. It is one of 11 sites across
the UK testing new ways of supporting people with health problems
to go back to work.
Businesses all over the country are taking advantage of Fit for
Work schemes. Accessing Fit for Work will help you to deliver a
better service through having a stronger and healthier team,
strengthening your business and ultimately increasing
productivity.
As an employer in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,
you are eligible for a limited free offer of:
- Health and Safety workplace advice and training
- Sickness Management workplace advice
If you have employees who are currently trying to cope with
health problems at work, or who have been absent from work due to
sickness, the service can quickly assess their health and other
barriers to work, and support them back to work. We offer a free
dedicated Case Manager to work with your employee on a one to one
basis. They may then be referred to other relevant
services or therapies. The Case Manager will support your
employee throughout their return to work journey.
The service can also signpost to independent legal advice on
matters including fit notes, sick pay, and health and safety
concerns.
