Other contract and tender opportunities
Business opportunities and the chance to bid for and win new
contracts, as a supplier are available through a number of
increasingly sophisticated web portals, such as CompeteFor.
CompeteFor was initially set up to make it easier for businesses,
particularly smaller businesses, to identify and tender for
contracts arising from the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in
2012. But now more and more public and private sector organisations
are using it to advertise upcoming contracts.
Many more, smaller, public sector tender opportunities are
advertised through the Contract Finder portal and larger contracts
above the EU threshold can be sourced through the Official Journal
of the European Union (OJEU).
