Business continuity
- Do you run a business?
- Does your business supply other businesses or are you supplied
by other businesses?
- Do you or your customers rely on public access to your business
through telephones, email, websites, or from the street?
If you have answered YES to any of the above then you need to be
thinking of Business Continuity.
Business Continuity is the way by which you can plan to deal
with any event that could stop your business from working and get
you back up and at full capacity as quickly as possible.
This is not just about having back ups of data but also looking
after your staff and knowing that the image of the strength of your
Business can be as important as the people inside it.
This is not just about terrorist attacks or computer viruses but
also about the leaking water pipe in the office above you, the gas
leak that will keep you out of your office for hours at a time, or
the disruption to your supplier that means that your latest
delivery won’t arrive until long after your shelves are empty.
