Buyer Profile and e-Procurement
The Council's aim is to conduct business electronically and this
includes the introduction of electronic tendering, electronic
ordering of goods and services, and payment of suppliers. This will
result in improved efficiency and a reduction in costs for the
Council and its suppliers.

View current tenders/current procurement contracts
To view current tenders use the scroll bar in the Buyer Profile
box below and scroll to the list of Current Tenders/Current
Procurements. Click on the link to the one you want to view.
To print a tender or a contract:
- right-click with your mouse on the hyperlink of the contract
you want to print
- select the "open in a new window" option - the contract will
open in a new window (select file print)

Procurement strategy
The Council has produced an Implementation Plan to introduce the
Council’s e-Procurement Strategy. The Plan should be read in
conjunction with the Corporate Procurement Strategy and aims to
implement all targets by 2009.
