Leaflet distribution
In order to distribute free literature on the streets you must
have a licence to do so.
If you would like to apply for a licence to hand out leaflets on
any of the streets listed below, please complete and return the
Distribution of free Literature application form.
Please note: before signing and returning the
application form, you must read and agree to the Terms and
Conditions.
You should then return this along with a cheque for £175.40. If
you want more than one site it costs £25.00 for each additional
site.

Media Sites
There are specific sites designated for the distribution of
media for example. newspapers/magazines. Your publication should
not contain any loose inserts or flyers. These sites are time
banded and are only available between:
- 9am -12noon
- 2 - 5pm
- 4 -7pm

Once we have received your application, one of our officers will
make a visit to the site you have requested to see if it is viable.
Please bear in mind that your application may take up to 14 days to
process.
Points to note:
- you will only be allowed to stand at an agreed location on the
street
- we do not normally licence people to hand out leaflets outside
tube stations or by pedestrian crossings to avoid causing any
obstructions
