Still Lifes and Landscapes
10 to 21 May 2011
Caryl Bradford and Janet Scott
Caryl's main source of inspiration is nature: she thinks a still
life should be colourful and happy. For her, a painting is part of
the house and its purpose is to make everyday objects, fruits or
flowers seem more vivid.

Cherries Jug and Vase
She uses acrylics on canvas and favours small formats. She lives
in Provence and you can visit her gallery online at: www.pbase.com/caryl2.

Chinese Lanterns and Blackberries
There you will discover her dream towns and landscapes.
She recently had a successful exhibition in Paris.
Janet paints with friends in the UK, France and Cyprus every
summer, capturing something of the spirit of the place. She tries
to reflect light and heat in her work, mainly landscape, village,
harvest and watery scenes.

Eyemet River
She studies Life Drawing and Printmaking at Morley College, and
exhibits with the National Maritime Museum Art Club, Not the Royal
Academy, Free Painters & Sculptors and small group shows.

Teyssode Sunflower Farm
Her works are in private collections worldwide and she recently
had a successful one-person show in the Hellenic Centre.
Exhibition is open for public view on:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.30am to 8pm
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9.30am to 5pm
(Wednesday 11 May, private viewing 5.00pm to 8.00pm)
