The Register Office
Small and select, the Register Office rooms
are set aside for the two of you and your two witnesses only.
Ceremonies performed in these rooms are simple and elegant. If you
wish to have your ceremony in the Register Office then the
following restrictions will apply.
The costs of a Register Office Marriage or
Civil Partnership Registration are as follows:

Your ceremony will take a maximum 30 minutes.
- Up to 31 March 2010 we have two rooms from
which you may chose. They are located on the top and first floors
of the Chelsea Old Town Hall and are available on Mondays and
Fridays only.
- From 1 April 2010 onwards you may have your
ceremony in the first floor room and this will be available in the
afternoon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only.
For operational reasons the Register Office rooms are
unavailable on any day other than those stated above.
The Register Office at the Chelsea Old Town
Hall is open for viewing on Thursday evenings and members of staff
can be available for informal discussion by prior arrangement.
