Community input into policing the borough

Policing is undergoing major changes which will impact on residents of this borough.

The previous division of wards into four sectors has now been merged into three clusters.

The Mayor’s Office for Police and Community - MOPAC - will be creating Safer Neighbourhood Boards in each London Borough to oversee local policing and set priorities.

Board members will be recruited from local residents. Superintendent Neil Evans and the Royal Borough's Chief Community Safety Officer will speak on policing and setting priorities. An Engagement Officer from MOPAC will explain how the SNP will function. All will answer your questions on all aspects of policing in the borough.

A volunteer from Victim Support will speak on the many ways victim and witnesses receive help from this independent national charity.

This meeting is open to all and starts at 6.30pm on 29 November in Committee Room 1 at Kensington Town Hall, Horton Street. Light refreshments will be available.

No advance notice of attendance is needed.
