Wedge Card
What is Wedge Card?
Wedge Card is a reward card that can be used
in independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to take advantage
of special deals and discounts. There are over 500 outlets
across the borough participating in the scheme, and a
further 900 businesses across London. The network is
growing daily.
How do I find Wedge offers in my area?
In Kensington and Chelsea you're never far
away from your next Wedge deal and finding a Wedge retailer
couldn't be easier. Log on to www.wedgecard.co.uk and search
your area or for a particular type of retailer nearby. Or if you're
out and about in the borough keep an eye out for the Wedge logo
in-store.

Why does the Council support Wedge Card?
In March 2010 the Council sent out free Wedge
Cards to all households in the borough (they normally cost £10
each). Employees working in the borough can also get free cards
(click here for details).
We know that our residents are concerned about
small independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants disappearing,
and in 2006 the Council held a Retail Commission to look at what could be done
to support these businesses.
Wedge Card is a scheme that enables everyone
to support their independent retailers. By using a Wedge Card
you:
- benefit from deals and special offers;
- support the local independent businesses that help to
make our borough a vibrant place to live; and
- keep money within your community
