Search our consultations database

Vital Messages is the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's consultations database. You can find details of all current and planned consultations including, where appropriate, how to get involved. You can also find completed consultations, including their results and outcomes.

Each part of Vital Messages is searchable by keyword, or the advanced search allows you to narrow your search by topic, business group, method or subject of the consultation.

About consultation – Statement of Consultation Principles

As a Council we are committed to serving the community as well as we can and providing the best value services we can. Hearing the views of local residents and businesses is vital in helping us achieve our aims.

We have adopted a Statement of Consultation Principles so that local people know:

  • why the Council consults
  • how it will fulfil its commitment to maintaining good quality consultation
  • what they can expect from the Council when they are being consulted

The full statement can be downloaded here:

Planning Consultation Portal

The Planning department run a variety of different consultations which can be quite specific and complex. They therefore have their own planning consultation portal which you can search for all planning consultations.
