The report below presents the Cabinet’s budget proposals for 2011/12 and sets out its broad approach to revenue budgeting, council tax and the capital programme to 2013/14.
The report is divided into three sections that describe the Council’s revenue budget, which funds the large majority of Council services and activities; explains the ways in which the Council’s budget will change in future years and the financial pressures the Council needs to meet; and sets out the Cabinet’s proposals to meet these pressures.
The final document was approved at full Council on 2 March 2011.
