Help with work

This section covers the support that is available if you are in work or are looking to get back into work.

If you are looking to start a family and are working, you might be entitled to benefits from the government. The types of statutory award vary depending on your circumstance.  It is worth noting you might get additional support from your employer, depending on what their Human Resources policy is on maternity/paternity or adoption. Please make sure you check.

If you are a single parent and are looking to get back into work, you might be eligible for support from your local Job Centre.
