Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea School Admissions
The School Admissions Team is responsible for the following.
- the admissions process for children starting primary
school (reception stage of entry)
- the admissions process for children transferring from
primary school to secondary school (transfer stage at year
6)
- assisting new families who move into the Royal Borough in
finding school places for their children, and those wanting to
change schools, referred to as In-Year admissions
- appeals for children
that have been turned down for a place at a Royal Borough community
school
- identifying and monitoring, in liaison with other internal
services, children that need to be placed in a school using the
borough's Fair
Access Protocol
- the registration of children where parents elect to educate at home
- the administration of awarding
travel grants for pupils of statutory school age in accordance
with the Royal Borough's policy.
The Pan
London eAdmissions opened on 1 September 2011 to apply for
primary (reception) and secondary school for children that will be
starting from September 2012. Please note your username
and password and keep it safe.
The consultation on
admission arrangements for 2013/14 opens from Thursday
22 December and ends on Friday 24 February
2012.
