The information below is for open courses held in the Council’s training rooms.

Please note:

  1. The trainer cannot shorten the course to suit your operational needs because the examination bodies set strict criteria.
  2. If you are attending a course in your business or organisation’s premises, see:

Venues used:

  • Council Offices, 37 Pembroke Road, LondonW8 6PW – Earls Court or High Street Kensington Underground Stations
  • Latymer Centre, 116 Bramley Road, London W10 6SU – Latimer Road

Please note: Other venues may be used at the discretion of the Council.

Examination attendance

Candidates must provide photographic ID if they are to sit an examination at levels 1, 2, 3 or 4. Remember no ID means no examination!

Career development, evaluation and course outcomes

The Council will send your business and trainees evaluation forms to complete. Environmental Health Officers from your local authority may report back about the effect of the course on the trainee and your business.

The Qualification and Curriculum Authority and Office of Qualifications and Examinations accredited awarding bodies’ syllabuses which lead to certificates by examination. These courses may enable further or higher education courses connected with catering, hospitality and/or food industry career development if a trainee goes on to a college of further education.
