CIEH Intermediate Certificate in Supervising Health and Safety

What does it teach?

This course aims to teach candidates how to develop detailed knowledge and skills to equip them to supervise and train others in the field of health and safety.

What does it cost?

To be advised.

How long does it last?

It lasts for 3 days or 18 hours training programme time.

Important: You are required to attend this course for 100 per cent of the time.

Who should attend?

Supervisors or managers in organisations and businesses.

Candidates will require some knowledge and understanding of basic health and safety in the workplace.

What subjects are covered?

  • Concept of health and safety
  • Accidents in the workplace
  • Ill health in the workplace
  • Legal provisions (UK only)
  • Health and safety organisation and management
  • Supervising health and safety

What languages is the course run in?

Predominantly in English.

Is there an assessment at the end of the course?

Yes, an assignment completed under exam conditions plus a 60 question multiple choice question paper.
