What does it teach?

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health is the awarding body and the course trains people to deliver training courses.

What does it cost?

What are the minimum entry requirements?

Nil.

How long does it last?

Three days.

Who should attend?

People who want to deliver food safety and or health and safety qualification course, or who may just need a recognized training skills qualification.

What subjects covered?

The course covers the following subjects:

  • training needs and objectives
  • learning environment
  • use of training aids
  • training methods
  • delivery
  • communication
  • evaluation
  • assessment

Is there any preparation?

You must be prepared to work in your own time. Preparing materials and presenting a training session for the assessment will be necessary.

Is there an assessment at the end of the course?

There is a 30-minute assessment and a self-assessment on the last day of the course.
