Update Advanced Food Safety ⁄ Hygiene

What do they teach?

This course informs candidates of changes in legislation and developments to improve food safety.

It will help them to keep their knowledge up-to-date since obtaining their certificates.

How long does it last?

The course lasts for one full day.

Important. You are required to attend this course for 100 per cent of the time.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone who holds an advanced certificate in food safety or hygiene
  • Managers who hold an intermediate certificate in food safety or hygiene

  • Hazard spotting
  • Effective hand washing
  • Food allergies
  • Food Safety Act 1990 (amendment) Regulations 2004
  • General Food Hygiene Regulations 2004
  • Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006
  • EC Regulation 852/2004 on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs
  • Food safety management procedures (including safer food better business)
  • Effective food hygiene training
  • Developing a food safety culture
  • Food poisoning investigation
  • Sources of information

English.
