Food hygiene awareness talk

What does it teach?

This course teaches general awareness about basic food hygiene practice.

What does cost?

How long does it last?

Courses last for two hours.

Who should attend?

Suitable for food handlers (including managers) who are in need of refresher training.

Suitable for Social and Health Care employees and volunteers who have had no food safety training before or need refresher training.

What subjects are covered?

The courses cover the following subjects:

  • Cleaning
  • Cooking
  • Chilling
  • Cross-contamination
  • Personal hygiene

Is there an assessment at the end of the courses?

No. Please note that this is not an accredited Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering course. The programme is designed to raise awareness or act as refresher training. An attendance certificate is provided.
