The fees quoted are per person and include the cost of the examinations and materials. There is no VAT on local authority training. Course fees are subject to change from 1st October each year.
Lunch is not provided by the Council.
The trainer cannot shorten the course to suit your operational needs because the examination bodies set strict criteria.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea also reserves the right to offer the same accredited level of qualification, using an alternative examination body’s examination papers. Advertised fees are subject to change at the discretion of the Council.
Standard course fees: These fees are for open courses scheduled to be run in Council training venues. The fees apply to commercial businesses.
If you are from a local authority, educational establishment, a borough resident (but not running or working in a business) and health or social care organisation please see concessionary fees at the bottom of the page.
The fees include all the costs, but if a person has to re-sit an exam a separate fee is charged.

Unless stated otherwise courses start at 9am. Late-comers may be turned away and fees will not be re-imbursed. To book please ask for a training agreement to be sent to you. This should be signed and returned within 14 days of your provisional booking. The trainer cannot shorten the course to suit your operational needs because the examination bodies set strict criteria.
If signed training agreement(s) is/are not returned within the 14 day period, then there are no guarantees that your provisionally booked place(s) will still be available.
Payment by cheque is required, although medium to large sized organisations may pay by purchase order or request an invoice. Joining instructions and a venue map will then follow. Certificates will not be sent out until payment has been received.
The Royal Borough reserves the right to cancel or postpone advertised courses and increase the fees as necessary.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course will not be re-funded and settlement of invoices despatched on receipt of your signed training agreement will be expected (unless there is a bereavement, valid medical certificate, transport disruption, or cancellation of the course by the Council).
