Waste electronic and electrical equipment

Smugglers Way Civic Amenity Site is licensed and is operating as a designated collections facility (DCF) for waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE). Residents can take their WEEE to Smugglers Way for recycling. Alternatively there are WEEE banks at the mini-recycling centres at Denyer Street Depot (off Draycott Avenue) SW3 and Tavistock Depot, Portobello Road (50 yards south of Westway) W11 (see mini recycling centres for more information). You can deposit small electrical items such as mobile phones, kettles and toasters in these WEEE banks, but not larger items such as big televisions, fridges or freezers.
