Our performance
We want to make our streets cleaner and our waste collection
service better. We also want to recycle more and to reduce the
amount of waste that we send for disposal. To help you see what
progress we are making against these ambitions, we produce
statistics on all these areas, which we will update every
quarter.
These figures are also reported to local Councillors who are
members' of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Environmental
Services, Environmental Health and Planning Policy on a quarterly

While we aim to achieve high performance against all of our
standards sometimes there are times when things go wrong. We will
let you know what's gone wrong and what we are doing to make things
better via the website.
If problems are particularly bad we will issue press releases
and place articles in the Borough Newsletter. If you feel there is
