Programme of events for all ages

We offer an ongoing programme of informative talks and walks on environment and wildlife topics, open days in the wildlife area, training events and workshops. Please contact the Ecology Centre if you would like to be added to our events programme mailing list.

Upcoming events include the Bird Ringing Demonstration on Saturday 13 September, Autumn Folklore and Flora Walk in Holland Park on Saturday 13 September and Bat Walk in Holland Park on Wednesday 17 September.

On Saturday, 4 October we will be hosting a 'Nature Photography Camera Skills Workshop in Holland Park'. This workshop is aimed at beginners and is led by professional photographer Bruce Tanner.

Learn how to get better nature pictures from your DSLR, Bridge or Compact Camera and understand more about the controls. We will cover topics including composition, exposure and the best way to upload your images to your computer. Participants will practice their skills in the park.

The workshop runs from 10am to 4pm. The cost is £27.50 (RBKC residents) or £33.30 (non-residents).
