Dealing with flooding
Flooding can occur in a number of forms, such as tidal flooding

After the 2007 flooding the Council set out what had happened
and what we intended to do better in future, in reports to Cabinet
in September 2007 and February 2008. Because we wanted to make sure
that we had done as we promised, we asked our auditors to make sure

The Council is working in partnership with Thames Water to
reduce the risk of flooding. There are several solutions to the
problem which cannot be viewed in isolation, but various
objectives have to be integrated to achieve a successful solution.
