Notice period to apply for a suspension

We require:

  • five full notification days, in writing, to suspend a resident parking space 
  • two full notification days, in writing, to suspend a pay-and-display bay
  • where chargeable days are not booked as cumulative, seven consecutive days are required between the end of an application and the start of a new one for the same location and by same applicant

Apply the notice period on a weekday to suspend a:

  • resident parking space

If your application is received before 3pm on: the suspension starts on this day:
Monday: 20 May Saturday: 25 May
Tuesday: 21 May Sunday 26 and Tuesday 28 May
Wednesday: 22 May Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 May
Thursday: 23 May Friday 31 May
Friday: 24 May Saturday 1 June
Monday: 27 May- closed Spring Bank holiday
Tuesday: 28 May The following Monday

Apply the notice period on a weekday to suspend a:

  •  pay-and-display parking bay

If your application is received before 3pm on:

the suspension starts on this day:
Monday: 20 May Wednesday 22 May
Tuesday: 21 May Thursday 23 May
Wednesday: 22 May Friday 24 May
Thursday: 23 May Saturday 25, Sunday 26 and Tuesday 28 May
Friday: 24 May Wednesday 29 May
 Monday: 27 May- closed Spring Bank holiday
 Tuesday: 28 May The following Thursday

Please note: A bank holiday is not counted as a notification day, so you will have to give an extra day's notice.
