Apply for a residents' parking permit

You will need to fill in an application form and provide proof of where you live, proof that you are the main user and keeper of the vehicle, and proof that you have a driving licence that is valid in the UK.

You must send us original documents with your application. We will not accept photocopied, faxed or scanned documents.

You can also get a resident parking permit application form by emailing  residentparking@rbkc.gov.uk and leaving your name and address or by calling 020 7361 4381.

You can apply by post or in person for your permit at the Customer Service Department at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 7NX. Please allow ten working days for processing postal applications. If you need to get your permit quickly or if you wish to pay by cash you must come in to the Customer Services Centre.

 

Renewing your parking permit

You'll receive a letter when your parking permit is due for renewal; depending on how long your details have remained unchanged you may be eligible for online renewals, this is will be stated clearly in your renewal letter, please check it carefully and follow the renewal instructions.
