Barclays Cycle Hire

The Barclays Cycle Hire scheme was launched by the Mayor of London on 30 July 2010. The scheme enables users to hire a cycle and return it to any of the docking stations across London. To hire a bicycle, you can choose to become a member or use the scheme as a casual user.

 

Barclays Cycle Hire now has around 8,000 cycles in London across some 570 docking stations. There are 68 docking stations in the Royal Borough and over 10,000 of our residentss have joined the scheme.

Cycle training

The Council offers free cycle training to anyone who lives, works or studies in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. If you would like book a one to one adult cycle training session using a Barclays Cycle Hire bicycle, please email the Borough’s Road Safety and Travel Plan team on road.safety@rbkc.gov.uk.
