Jean Roberts BSc (Hons), DIC, MSc, MEI - Project Manager

Jean has nine years experience in the energy sector, before joining RBKC in December 2004 she worked for LB Islington and Watford BC. Jean studied at King’s College (London) obtaining an honours Degree in Environmental Science, followed by an MSc in Energy Technology at Imperial College. 

Previously Jean has worked in premises management in the City of London. She spent two years working in Beijing, China in development.

Jeremy Hopkins BSc (Hons) - Private Sector Energy Officer

Westminster City Council

Jeremy has been working in the energy field for the last five years. He has previously worked for The Energy Conservation and Solar Centre as a project manager and EcoSys Environmental Waste Management carrying out Environmental audits. Jeremy studied at The University of Brighton and obtained a Honours Degree in Environmental Science.

 Previously Jeremy was a model maker and made models for exhibitions, museums and television, including rayguns for Dr Who.

Ian Orme TEC Cert HNC - Technical Consultant

Rickaby Thompson Associates

Ian qualified in Building and Civil Engineering. Before joining Rickaby Thompson Associates Ltd in 1998 he spent sixteen years with the Wimpey Group, joining Wimtec Environmental as Principal Engineer in 1996. 

He also spent a period in the Building Research Energy Conservation Support Unit (BRECSU), where he managed contracts under the Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme. 

Ian now specialises in building performance assessment, including energy rating, environmental assessment, fuel and water use monitoring, temperature monitoring, thermal imaging and ventilation testing.
