18 May 2012 Dementia Awareness Week is 21 to 25 May. Organised by the Alzheimer's Society, the theme this year is 'Remember the person'. For more information see the Alzheimer's Society website, and our information on local services.

16 May 2012 Have you suffered a stroke or know someone who has? [PDF] (file size 1Mb). Come to an event at Kensington Town Hall on 30 May with a range of stalls, 'taster' classes and the chance to talk directly with health and social care teams about rehabilitation, health, nutrition and much more. 

16 May 2012 Carers Week 2012 [PDF] (file size 26Kb). This year is Monday 18 to Friday 22 June. If you look after someone why not come to one of the events for advice, help, a massage, or tea at Peter Jones!  

8 May 2012 Why not join a reading group or explore the therapeutic qualities of the written word? These are some of RBKC Library service's innovative and informal schemes for adults.
