New Social Housing Supply

Due to the lack of land and opportunities to build in the Royal Borough, we are not able to build lots of new homes and often have to build out of the borough. Last year, for every one home built in the borough, two were built outside the borough, and this was out of a total of 50 new properties being let to tenants.

These are some pictures of our recent new homes within other boroughs.

West London sub-region

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is a member of the West London sub-region which includes the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon and Hounslow.  The aim is to work together to ensure better and more housing in West London, through projects which range from tackling overcrowding to housing supply.
