The Isaac Newton Centre has a full in-house catering service provided by The Brookwood Partnership Limited.

We offer tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day for meetings at £4 per head. Single servings are also available at £1.50 per head.

For larger groups (10 or more people) there is a full conference catering service available with a range of menus. For smaller groups (up to 10 people), there is a café in our main area offering light lunches and refreshments including sandwiches, wraps, home-made soups, assorted salads, home-made cakes and a range of cold drinks.

Catering options

Below you will see a selection of menus for you to choose from. The content will vary according to the season and availability of produce. The Conference Team will be happy to discuss your personal requirements.

Menu 1: Cheese Board (working lunch) – £8.50 per head

Catering

This menu will be served in your conference room for groups up to 20 people. Larger groups will be served in our upstairs gallery area.

  • a selection of English and Continental cheeses
  • a selection of crusty bread and cheese biscuits
  • celery, grapes, olives and pickles
  • fresh fruit platter
  • fruit juice

Tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits can be served three times throughout the day for an additional £4 per head. Single servings are also available at £1.50 per head. Tea/coffee is usually served in our main café area, but can be served in your conference rooms on request at the time of booking.


Menu 2: Working Lunch – £8.50 per head

This menu will be served in your conference room for groups up to 20 people. Larger groups will be served in our upstairs gallery area.

  • assorted open sandwiches on a variety of breads including meat, fish and vegetarian options
  • olives and savouries with dips
  • additional warm snacks, for example chicken wings or spring rolls
  • fresh fruit platter
  • fruit juice

Menu 3 Seasonal Buffet – £12.50 per head

This menu will be served in our main café area, which has additional seating on a mezzanine floor.

Autumn/Winter Seasonal Buffet

The Autumn/Winter menu is served October to April.  A Summer menu is served May to September with a similar range of main menu options served with a selection of salads.

At least one meat, one fish and one vegetarian option is served every day with the menu rotating daily.

Meat options include (for example):

  • hand carved roast joint of the day served with traditional  garnish
  • BBQ chicken breast served on garlic bread
  • honey and mustard pork fillet
  • beef in black-bean sauce
  • pork in hoi sin sauce with roasted peppers
  • minted lamb chops
  • chicken in orange sauce

Fish options include (for example):

  • chargrilled salmon with lemon and dill
  • cod fillet with caper sauce
  • seafood risotto
  • salmon fillet wrapped in filo pastry
  • herb crusted cod fillet
  • stir fried seafood with bean sprouts
  • smoked haddock and salmon pie

Vegetarian options include (for example):

  • seasonal vegetable pie
  • vegetable & mozzarella towers
  • roasted vegetables on a black bean sauce
  • lentil & vegetable loaf
  • vegetable risotto
  • asparagus and leek flan
  • stuffed peppers

All the above will be served with:

  • a selection of seasonal potatoes and vegetables
  • sauces to compliment the dish
  • homemade flavoured bread
  • homemade dessert of the day
  • fruit juice

Important: You must confirm your final delegate catering numbers at least seven working days before the event.
