Teacher Recruitment (including NQTs)
There are several ways to apply for teaching positions in Royal
Borough of Kensington and Chelsea schools:.jpg)
- Royal Borough of
Kensington and Chelsea Jobs page - the jobs page is used to
advertise current vacancies in the Borough; these are divided into
Business Groups. For all school vacancies, select the Schools
business group. This page also has a Job Alerts service which can
keep you up to date with all current vacancies as they are
posted.
-
School Websites - all schools within Kensington and Chelsea
have their own school website – accessible to students, staff and
parents. Most will include a jobs page and here you will be able to
access a current list of vacancies. Please click on the 'List of
Schools' link on the right of this page.
- Times Educational
Supplement - in addition to the paper, there is the TES website
and more recently the TES
New Teachers website which is dedicated to supporting trainee
and newly qualified teachers through the initial years of their
career. The site offers advice, jobs, resources and information on
school placements and launched on 3 June 2010.
If you have any questions regarding school recruitment please
email these to teaching@rbkc.gov.uk
Please note: this year the Local Authority will not be running
an NQT talent pool - all NQTs are advised to apply directly to
schools using any of the methods above
