Culture in the Royal Borough
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is home to a diverse
and flourishing arts scene, which includes festivals, music venues,
galleries, theatres, arts centres, and more besides.
The filming and special events office gives advice to artists
and performers, event organisers, and community and voluntary
groups on the use of the borough’s public spaces for the purposes
of displaying or performing art or organising public events.
Visit the Film and Special
Events pages to learn more.

The Arts Service is committed to
supporting the arts in Kensington and Chelsea, for the benefit of
the arts community, residents and visitors alike. We work with a
wide range of organisations, and are keen to develop new
partnerships. Visit the Arts Service
pages to learn more about its programmes and events.
Leighton House Museum and 18 Stafford Terrace are widely
regarded as two of the best preserved Victorian historic houses in
the UK. They are the only examples of nineteenth century artists
homes open to the visiting public in this country. A wide range of
exhibitions, events and educational activities are conducted at
both sites. More information is available on the Museums pages.

Opera Holland Park is a critically acclaimed company performing
six operas each season from June to August in the beautiful
surroundings of Holland Park. Visit the Opera Holland Park website to find out more

INSPIRE Project, and the mini-festival Opera Holland Park.
