The Council's relationship with Carnival
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea does not organise
Notting Hill Carnival - we facilitate the event. We recognise the
impact Carnival has on the lives of those who live and work in
Notting Hill and surrounding areas. Throughout the year we have
worked closely with Westminster City Council, the Metropolitan
Police, and the Carnival organisers, London Notting Hill Carnival
Enterprises Trust Ltd (LNHCET) to ensure that not only do we have a
great Carnival, but that we also get a fair deal for our
residents.
