We offer a wide range of services to children and young adults, from a fantastic selection of books that help them to learn, including our baby rhyme times and Chatterbook events.

Young people's library

Are you aged between 12 and 15?
Your local library has services just for you, check out the YPZ, Young People's Zone at Brompton and Chelsea libraries and the young adult libraries at Kensington Central and North Kensington libraries.

Is your child three years or younger?

The library is a great place to come with young children. Every library has a colourful under fives area with toddler-sized furniture, and a wide range of books for babies and toddlers.

Computer facilities

Every library has a computer for children.

All the computers have safeguards against children accessing inappropriate content on the internet. In addition we ask that a parent or guardian give permission for children to use the internet.

Please bring your child's library card with you to book time on the children's computer.
