Toddler mornings

A toddler morning at Kensington Central Library

There are free events for under fives at all our libraries. Storytimes and rhyme times last about 20 minutes. Toy sessions are longer.

Children and their carers can join in songs and rhymes, listen to stories or play with toys.

For some events, a free ticket must be collected beforehand.

Some of our rhymetime events require tickets. These tickets are available to library members as follows:

  • Chelsea Library: 30 tickets from Saturday onwards
  • Kensington Central Library: All tickets available from Saturday onwards
  • North Kensington Library: 30 tickets from Wednesday onwards

Important: During August, we are running a special programme of Family Times instead of the regular storytimes and Baby Rhyme Times.
You do not need a ticket to attend these sessions, just turn up.
Details are on the Team Read leaflet on the Children's Library page, or contact your local library.

Regular storytimes and Baby Rhyme Times will begin again in September.
