Under 5's

There are free events for under fives at all our libraries. Children and their carers can join in songs and rhymes or listen to stories.

Young people

Are you aged between 12 and 15? Your local library has services just for you, check out the YPZ, Young People's Zone!


Chatterbooks are reading groups for children. Our aim is to inspire you to read, develop confidence in expressing your opinions, and to talk about books.


Bookstart is a national programme that encourages all parents and carers to enjoy books with their children from as early an age as possible. Find out more.

Need help with your homework? Then come to our Homework Club at four of your local Kensington and Chelsea Libraries.

Class visits to Libraries

A class visit is an opportunity to join the library and find out what is on offer so that children will be motivated to return out of school hours with their family.
