Joining the library

Becoming a member

Joining the library is free and easy to do; you can join online or in person. To become a member you will need to complete the membership form and provide proof of name and address.

Borrowing and charges

With a library card, adults can borrow up to a maximum of 25 items and children can borrow up to 16 items. Borrowing books is free.


Renewing your library items has never been easier. You can renew online, by telephone or in person.
